This is a Semi-Formal Event
This is a family-friendly event, and parents are encouraged to join their athletes in celebrating the camaraderie and community of the Vortex Water Polo Club. We’ll present awards, recognize our coaches, share a meal, hit the dance floor, and make lasting memories together.
TICKETS
- No more tickets are available (tickets sales closed on Friday, May 15)
TIME
- Doors Open at 5:30 PM
- Dinner at 6:00 PM
- Awards & Presentations at 7:00 PM
- Dancing from 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Please arrive before 6:00 PM so you can get settled in your seat and we can start the event on time
- The whole night will wrap up at 10:00 PM
ENTRANCE
The Vortex Awards Dinner will take place in the St Ignatius Church Hall.
The entrance to the hall is on Jessie Street. Guests should go down the ramp to enter. There is an accessible elevator for those who may require it.
Parking will be a challenge so please give yourself enough time.

WHAT: "The docuseries CHAMPIONS explores the daily lives of 5 exceptional francophone teen athletes who live outside of Quebec who are pursuing their athletic dreams while attending high school and juggling their busy everyday lives. Far from being ordinary, these teens share a different level of engagement and commitment toward determination and excellence. The docuseries will be shot over the course of the school year in hopes to reveal the direct sacrifices, challenges and victories that they may face along their unique journeys."
